Lighter Bodied Cheese Wine Selection

These five cheeses have been chosen for their ability to partner lighter more delicate wines.
Tomme de Savoie is a semi hard cows milk cheese from France.  It has a buttery slightly acidic flavour.  Cheshire is made by the Bourne Family and is crumbly and has a pleasing slightly sweet aftertaste. Oxford Blue is a modern cheese made in the style of a continental blue.  It is very moist and has a medium flavour.  Chaource is one of our perennial favourites and comes from the Champagne region of France.  It is rich runny and slightly salty.  Finally a Loire goat cheese with a moist creamy slightly tart flavour marries well with light bodied red and white wines
Small size – cut cheeses are approx 200gm
Large size – cut cheeses are approx 250gm
